The Intermarche supermarket is approximately 5 minutes drive and carries almost all products you could find in England plus an large selection of local produce, fruit, fish, wine etc. For recreation, there are 9 hole and 18 hole golf courses within 10 minutes drive, two water slide parks on the EN 125, many fine sandy beaches, horse riding, windsurfing etc.
